SPOT
An urban park located on the hills of Tomei-cho, it is the most famous spot for cherry blossoms and azaleas in the Sorachi area. In spring, approximately 2,000 cherry trees, including Somei Yoshino and Ezo Yamazakura varieties, bloom, followed by over 5,000 azaleas that reach their peak from mid-June.
From the Space Carillon, which plays melodies for each season, you can hear beautiful melodies every hour. From the park entrance, you can go to the 'Furusato no Mieru Oka Observatory,' which offers a panoramic view of the Sorachi Plain.
