Located in the hills of Tomei Town, this urban park is the best cherry and azalea viewing spot in Sorachi Province, with approximately 2,000 cherry trees including Someiyoshino and Ezoyama cherry trees in bloom in spring, followed by over 5,000 azaleas that reach their peak from mid June. Visitors can listen to a beautiful melody every hour from the space carillon, which plays seasonal melodies. From the entrance of the park, you can go to the "Furusato-no-Mieru-Oka Observatory," from which you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Sorachi Plain.
