SPOT
Taisetsu Observatory Espoir Bell
Named after the French word for "hope," this bell, a symbol of Kamikawa Town, plays a beautiful tone every three hours starting at 9 am. The bell is the largest in Japan, and the view from the observatory and the bell, which overlooks the Daisetsuzan mountain range, is truly magnificent.
