This hands-on museum is based on the theme of ice and cold.

The temperature inside the museum is kept at minus 20 degrees Celsius all year round, creating a 360-degree world of ice as far as the eye can see.
Visitors can enjoy Hokkaido's winter all year round by experiencing the extreme cold of -41°C and ice slides.

In 2022, the "Earth Garden" for playing in a human village was newly established and renovated into a facility where families can enjoy all day long with a baby goat square and wooden playground equipment.
