Kamifurano Shrine
Shrine with a power stone (a large rock near the shrine building)
The shrine was founded in 1902. The main deity is Amaterasu. At the annual festival on August 1, there are many lively events such as traditional street performances, children's portable shrines, rice cake making, cotton candy, and ponzu (Japanese sweets) in the shrine grounds.
Mochimaki (rice cake throwing) is also held on New Year's Day at 11:00 a.m. to celebrate the New Year.
