Along the promenade along the Fukiage-Kamifurano Route 291 from Kamifurano to Tokachidake Onsenkyo, lavenders are planted along a 7-km stretch of road. The endless purple lines, combined with the majestic Tokachidake mountain range, create a beautiful natural landscape.
