The Kamifurano Town Hall was opened in May 1978 to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the founding of Kamifurano Town.
The building of the museum is modeled after the former Kamifurano Village Hall, which was constructed in 1919 and was a gorgeous building that could not be seen in any other town or village at that time.
