Middle Furano Shrine
Overview
Nakafurano Shrine is located in the middle of the slope of Mt. Hokusei, the town's symbol with a good view, but its shrine building was also in the town's flatland area until Shōwa 37. The new shrine building, built with the town's subsidy and donations from townspeople, was, as for that time, unusually of reinforced concrete construction, and continues to the present after undergoing the exterior renovation of Heisei 15. Recently, it is said that visitors of about from their 10s to their 40s are becoming many as a part of a tourist spot. Goshuincho and, at shrines, rare pet amulets are recommended.
