【Summer: Hokuseiyama Lavender Garden』
The 7-minute sightseeing lift will take you to the top of Hokusei Mountain, where you can enjoy the view of three kinds of lavenders and fields of bright annual flowers spreading out below you. You can enjoy the typical Nakafurano scenery of the Tokachi Mountain range and rice paddies. It is also the site of the Lavender Festival and Fireworks Display, the summer festival of the Furano region.
【Winter： Hokusei Ski Area】
A portion of the slopes are unpaved so that visitors can enjoy a miniature backcountry experience on the slopes the morning after a snowfall. In winter, the ski lifts are usually open from the second week of January to early March, depending on the snowfall.
