This facility was opened on April 1, 2021 as a base for activities to help the Ainu people and local people understand the Ainu people together and to pass on Ainu culture and local culture.
It is a facility where visitors can feel familiar with Ainu culture and history, and also functions as a place for the local community, with exhibits that introduce Ainu folk tools and the achievements of Yanai Shirai, who devoted his life to Ainu education.
In the future, we plan to offer classes in Ainu embroidery and sculpture. We look forward to your visit.
