1982 spring, 3000 Eniwa citizens, in order to make "Eniwa Lake" a place of rest, planted approximately 1000 cherry trees on the right bank downstream of the dam, and as a cherry blossom park, it is loved by citizens. The Cherry Blossom Park, as for the growing environment of cherry trees, conditions were bad, (soil・temperature etc.) and because several cherry trees that began to wither also appeared, after that, while carrying out several times' supplementary planting, and weeding and pest and disease control, fertilizer spreading etc., as a result of diligently working in management, every year, we were able to make beautiful cherry tree flowers bloom. (Chishima Cherry・Ezo Cherry・Beni Cherry etc.)
