This book cafe opened at the end of October 2023 along the Urahoro Town shopping arcade. The "Torinome" in the store's name means "bird's eye." It was named with the hope of providing time to broaden one's perspective in the midst of a busy everyday life. The store was renovated from a 50-year-old former hardware store, and many of the interiors were DIYed by the cafe's staff.

The store features a bookstore selling second-hand books, new books, and miscellaneous goods, a uni store selling food and miscellaneous goods made with healthy ingredients, a cafe where you can enjoy light meals and Torinome Shoten's original blend coffee, and a brewery for RIKKA, a Hokkaido organic craft beer brand scheduled to launch in the summer of 2024.
