Overview

The Kirameki Town Festival is Honbetsu Town's largest event, held over two days on the first Saturday and Sunday of September every year. The Higashi Tokachi Fireworks Festival, held on the first day, typically launches around 5,000 to 6,000 fireworks, vividly lighting up the Tokachi night sky in early autumn. A song show is held on the second night, and has previously featured many famous singers, including May J. and Junretsu.

There are a variety of stage events, and the large venue is lined with many food stalls.
