Enjoy Blue Impulse and the powerful demonstration flights. This is a special event held at the Japan Air Self-Defense Force Chitose Air Base in Chitose City, where you can experience up close the powerful performances put on by the elite pilots of the sky. When you step onto the vast runway, various types of aircraft are on display, and the smell of oil from the aircraft and the jet sounds of fighter planes stimulate the five senses, allowing you to enjoy an extraordinary world.

The biggest highlight is the mixed-formation flight by the Japanese government exclusive aircraft, which are deployed only at Chitose Air Base in the entire country, and F-15 fighter jets, among others. The roaring sound that rips through the air and the dynamic presence of the aircraft are breathtaking. Furthermore, the magnificent demonstration flight by the aerobatic demonstration team "Blue Impulse" is also a must-see. On the ground, there are plenty of activities for the whole family to enjoy, such as up-close viewing of Self-Defense Force aircraft, performances by the music band, and a kids' train. Lured by the aroma of local gourmet food wafting from the food trucks, you can enjoy the unique sense of openness of the air festival while savoring hot dishes.
