Tokachi Foundation/LAND, a public interest incorporated foundation, will be holding a business event called "KAIKON - Kaikon -" on Wednesday, October 15th and Thursday, October 16th, 2025, to pave the way for the future and unearth new value in Tokachi, Hokkaido!
The event aims to generate various business ideas, such as problem-solving and collaboration, through a "field caravan" touring Tokachi's local resources, and "keynote speeches," "talk sessions," and "pitch sessions" that stimulate participants' mindsets toward business growth.

The KAIKON TOKACHI CARAVAN is a field caravan that rediscovers Tokachi's local resources. It is an event that visits business sites that utilize Tokachi's primary industries and other local resources. It aims to promote new business creation and business collaboration.

Keynote speech: "Making global food more enjoyable" - A sustainable food revolution that began with an encounter with fishermen (13:10-14:00)

Yamamoto, who encountered fishermen and felt a sense of crisis about the current state of the seafood industry, founded Foodison Co., Ltd. with the desire to "make food sustainable." This is an experimental session that aims to create new businesses by utilizing the ematch system, which measures the heart rates of participants as they converse and supports matching based on the degree of synchronization between their heart rates.
Talk Session 2: How did you overcome that barrier? Practitioners talk about the conditions for breaking through (17:25-18:10)
How do business managers overcome the obstacles they face? Learn about breakthroughs and tips for change from those who have taken on the challenge of creating new businesses and reforming organizations, and explore practical approaches to business expansion.
