A closed elementary and junior high school has been turned into a factory to produce dairy products in the Fudanai Kogen plateau in Noboribetsu, Hokkaido.
The dairy factory is located in the former site of the elementary and junior high school, "Fudanai Kogenkan". The creamy melt-in-your-mouth pudding made with fresh milk from Noboribetsu, which boasts top-level milk quality, is a very popular product. The factory also boasts ice cream, cheese, and sausages made from local whey pork. Why not stop by on your way home from the hot springs?
