Umi no Furusato Kan
This museum is built on a hill used as a "Noroshidai" at the end of the Edo period.
It is a representative facility of Rumoi City that recreates the history of Rumoi through tools, images, replicas, etc. It also houses the office of the Rumoi Tourism Association, a non-profit organization.
The lounge is also used to hold events and to view Cape Gold and the best sunset in Japan, as well as for the "Rumoi Hamayaki" (Rumoi beach roast).
