With a length of over 1 km, it is the largest beach in northern Hokkaido. It is a quiet inland sea with the Shokan-dake mountain range and Reiji fishing port to the south and Cape Kogane to the north, and is especially famous for its clean seawater. Shower rooms (for a fee), toilets, and washing areas are also available, attracting many campers. In addition, the greenbelt area (for a fee) is rented out as a rental space, and charcoal and food for BBQ are available for sale, making it easy to enjoy swimming.
