SPOT
Cape Koganezaki Seaside Park
Overview
Cape Koganezaki is a beach with a unique landscape of many rugged, oddly-shaped rocks that look like pillars stacked on top of each other. The sunset over the Sea of Japan is spectacular and has been selected as one of the 100 best sunsets in Japan. Small rock crabs live here, and in summer, visitors can enjoy fishing for rock crabs using squid legs sold at beach houses. In winter, you can also see the rare "ke-arashi.
