Rishiri Town Museum
This is a museum where you can learn about the nature and history of Rishiri Town and the life and culture of the Rishiri people who have lived with the sea. In the museum, you can see valuable exhibits and trivia information about Rishiri Island, and listen to the conversation of those days in the restored herring guard house with realistic "yanshu (fisherman)" dolls. You can take pictures inside the museum! The lobby is well stocked with literature and information about Rishiri Island.
