Old building with a unique prewar Hokkaido architectural style
Old Kami-omobetsu Ekimori is located in Kami-omobetsu, 23km south of the center of Monbetsu City, and was built in 1926 as a government-established "Ekimori". It was built in 1926 as a government-run "ekimonbetsu" (station), 23 km south of the center of Monbetsu City, and is the only surviving ekimonbetsu building in the Monbetsu area. Volunteer guides are available every Saturday from April to November to give tours.
