This is a science museum located by the Sea of Okhotsk, themed around drift ice. Its main feature is an exhibition room where you can 'see,' 'touch,' and 'experience,' making it a facility that families with children can enjoy. The Severe Cold Experience Room recreates the world of midwinter at 20 degrees below zero Celsius. Real drift ice is on display year-round, and you can touch it directly.

The Ice Aquarium, created from highly transparent ice, and the freezing soap bubble experience are also popular. In the dome theater, which shows powerful videos, you can see the four seasons of Okhotsk, including the drift ice. Additionally, there is a Q&A corner and a drift ice observation room. Special exhibitions on various themes are held from time to time. Furthermore, the center is designated as 'Roadside Station Okhotsk Mombetsu' and is also equipped with facilities such as a cafe and a shop.
