This is Japan's only facility that protects and breeds the seals that show their appearance on the Okhotsk Sea coast around the time of drift ice.
Mainly Spotted seals, there are dozens of animals such as Ringed seals, Harp seals, etc.

At the feeding time held 5 times per day, besides cheers rising every time for the seals' eating appearance and their charming tricks, zookeepers also carefully explain about the seals' ecology for us. Also, on the wall surface of the breeding pool, there is a window through which one can peek underwater, and one can also observe the seals' swimming appearance.
