The only facility in Japan that protects and keeps seals that appear along the coast of the Sea of Okhotsk around the time of drift ice. Currently, more than 20 seals (two species: largha seals and ringed seals) are kept here. During feeding time, the seals come to the plaza. Visitors can observe the seals up close while listening to the keeper's commentary.
