Overview

A summer festival in Kitami featuring the "Buyo Parade," where citizens in yukata stroll through the city center, and the "Tonden O-tsunahiki," where young people in fundoshi loincloths compete in a tug-of-war with a 200m rope. On the final day of the festival, the "Noryo Hanabi Taikai" (Cooling Evening Fireworks Display) will be held at the Koizumi Kasenshiki Ground.
