A forest filled with the life force of nature

"Nonno" means "flower" in Ainu language. It is named after the many flowers that bloom in the forest from spring to fall.
This forest full of nature's vitality, located in the Kamisato district of Tsubetsu Town just between Lake Akan and Lake Kussharo, was certified as a "Forest Therapy® Base" by the NPO Forest Therapy® Society in April 2011, as a forest scientifically recognized for its healing effects.
