This is a 2 km road that cuts through the Kiritappu Marshlands.
From this road, one can see the Kitappu Marsh on both sides of the road.
From early summer to fall, you can see a variety of marshland flower colonies along the road. The road is also used as a cycling and walking trail.
The "MG" in "MG Road" is an English abbreviation meaning "lush marshland.
