SPOT
Biwase Wooden Path
This is one of the places where you can feel closest to the Kiritappu Marsh. The 500-meter long one-way wooden path is a walking course where you can observe plants unique to the marshland. The deck at the end of the path overlooks the water, and if you are lucky, you can see wild animals such as red-crowned cranes and Ezo deer. The scenery of the marshland changes with the seasons, making it a wonderful experience no matter what time of year you visit.
The Ezo kanzo colony in summer is especially beautiful.
