GAMUSHI ONSEN GAMUSHI ONSEN RYOKAN
A hot spring inn with extensive facilities boasting a Japanese garden-style open-air bath
The name "GAMUSHI" is said to derive from the Ainu word "kamuiushi" (many bears), and a stuffed bear greets visitors at the entrance. The area is dotted with leisure facilities such as a gate ball field and the Taiko Mountain ski resort.
The bath boasts an open-air bath in the style of a Japanese garden, and is a natural hot spring of clear, colorless, simple spring water. The baths are a perfect place to take a dip while enjoying the seasonal changes of the garden, such as the changing leaves in the fall and the snow in the winter. In addition to a large bath with a Jacuzzi, sauna, and a steam bath, there are three types of family baths, allowing families with small children to relax and unwind. The bedrock baths using black silica from Kaminokuni, available for an additional 1,000 yen, are also popular. This hot spring resort offers a full range of facilities to relax both body and soul.
