Roadside Station Assabu
Located along National Route 227, about 80 minutes (approximately 60 km) from the center of Hakodate, the roadside station "Assabu" is a wooden station built using local Hinoki Asunaro (Japanese cypress).
The shop sells a wide range of fresh vegetables, including the local specialty potato "May Queen," which was created in Atsuta Town in 1925, asparagus, corn, and more, as well as black soybean tea and sweets, and shochu made with May Queen and the sweet potato "Kogane Senkan."
We also accept local delivery. Please contact us by phone or fax.
It was reopened in September 2012. The sales floor has been expanded, making shopping easier. The popular soft serve ice cream shop "Hyakushoya" has moved into the building.
There is also a rest area where you can relax.
