Hiratori Town Ainu Culture Information Center
Overview
It is a base of Ainu culture promotion in Hiratori Town. Inside the hall, craft products including "Nibutani Ita" (tray) and "Nibutani Attushi" (bark cloth), which were designated in 2013 in Hokkaido for the first time as the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry's "Traditional Industrial Art Goods," and also books difficult to obtain in general bookstores, are sold. For those who wish, wood carving and embroidery can be experienced.
