Nibutani Ainu Culture Museum
The Nibutani Ainu Culture Museum, with its unique and eye-catching exterior, was opened in 1992 with the concept of correctly passing on the precious Ainu culture to the future. The museum is divided into four booths, each of which is designed to provide visitors with a full visual and auditory experience of Ainu life and culture, in which human beings, gods, and nature (the earth) are all living in harmony with each other. In addition to exhibits such as folk tools and crafts, visitors can actually listen to the Yukala "Epic of Heroes" on a video stage.
