Hirayama
Overview
Located on the north side of the Daisetsuzan mountain range, Hirayama in Kita-Daisetsu is 1771 meters above sea level, and its environment is said to be as severe as the 3000 meter level in Honshu, or even more so. The traverse route between Hirayama (1771M) and Tengu (1561M) is now fully equipped. Tengu has long been famous for mountain skiing, and the Kita Taisetsu Ski Resort is located on its northeastern slope, offering a 360-degree panoramic view of the Sea of Okhotsk in the distance.
