Nakashibetsu Livestock and Food Processing Training Center
This center was established in 1987 in the Keinebetsu district, about 20 minutes by car from the city center, to conduct research on local specialty products made from raw milk and dairy meat and to provide residents with training in dairy meat processing.
The training is popular for making ice cream, cheese, butter, and sausages.
