Shiba-zakura Takigami Park is located on a small hill in the center of downtown Takigami.

Shiba-zakura (lawn cherry blossoms), which bloom from early May to early June all over Takigami Park, began with a seedling that was "a boxful of mandarin oranges. Since then, thanks to the efforts of local residents and the town, they have multiplied every year and now cover an area of 100,000 square meters. The scale of the plant is the largest in Japan.
