Hokkaido Niseko Yotei's blessing of "water" - "ICOR" [Hokkaido Cosmetics Review].
Introduced this time is ICOR, an organic cosmetic brand born in Niseko Town, Hokkaido. The brand uses natural water from the melting snow of Mt. Yotei and a variety of natural plants nurtured by the abundant water.
1. Oil-in-mist toner (lotion)
The water of Mt. Yotei (Kamuiwakka), selected as one of the 100 best waters in Japan for its super softness, and the rice grown in the surrounding area (rice nuka oil and rice ceramide) are an excellent match! It specializes in moisturizing and penetrates the skin rapidly. We shake it well before use to mix the rice nuka oil inside.
It is as smooth and silky as water, so I use it as a fickle mist after makeup to prevent masks from getting wet and as a hand mist to moisturize while working. The refreshing citrus aroma is perfect for when you want to refresh your mind!
Lotion is usually thought of as a face care product, but it can also be used on the entire body, from the hair to the whole body. This product is made with gentle natural ingredients that can be used anywhere.
2. Balancing Serum (beauty essence)
This luxurious product contains rare birch sap from Hokkaido, which balances the moisture in the horny layer and regulates dryness and texture on the surface of the skin. This product also has a watery, silky feel and is used in the morning for skincare before makeup.
I feel more confident in my bare skin after about a week of using this product, so I started using a foundation with a glossy base instead of one that emphasizes coverage. I highly recommend this item to those who have skin problems due to moisture content like me!
By the way, the Oil-in-Mist Toner and Balancing Serum that I have introduced so far have won the Sustainable Cosmetics Award 2020 as "human- and earth-friendly cosmetics. The award was given high marks for manufacturing products at a factory in Hokkaido and shortening the transportation distance of raw materials.
3. Lip & Eye Treatment Essence
A major feature of this product is that it contains "rice fermentation liquid" from the Niseko Brewery, a sake brewery located at the foot of Mt. It is produced in the process of fermenting rice by microorganisms when making sake, and contains amino acids and vitamins, which are highly effective moisturizers.
In the corona disaster, the eye area is the most visible area, even when wearing a mask. Many people are concerned about this. This has a thick and sticky feel like a lip gloss, so it is recommended for night care when used around the eyes.
It can also be used on the lips as a gloss as well as a care. Recently, tinted lips that do not wear on the mask have become popular, but tints have the disadvantage of depositing color on the lips as time goes by, and tend to dry out. By lightly applying this product on your finger, you can compensate for both dryness and shine of your lips. The transparency like spring water is very beautiful!
ICOR means "treasure" in Ainu language. As the name suggests, the cosmetics have a clear, platinum-like shine. Let's enjoy cutting-edge beauty together, incorporating plenty of Hokkaido Niseko's charm!
ICOR can be purchased from the official website. There are many more beautiful cosmetics that we have yet to introduce to you!
