Fruit picking on a warm early summer day. This season is all about cherries. The children were completely absorbed, reaching for the bright red, glossy fruit. In Sobetsu Town, you can enjoy picking various fruits throughout the seasons.

About an hour and a half drive from Sapporo,
I went to Shakotan.

Summer in Shakotan means uni-don!
It's so rich in flavor you don't even need soy sauce!
It's incredibly delicious.
