Waiting in the room were not only children's hotel wear but also adorable bear-themed slippers and a Musasabi-kun (a flying squirrel character) toothbrush. So cute!!

Furthermore, by booking through a special plan, we even received a cute souvenir snack in Asahiyama Zoo exclusive packaging! This warm hospitality had my child jumping for joy.

For those with children in diapers, you can borrow a helpful "diaper pail," and to prevent children from falling off the bed, a "bed guard" is also available.

Of Course, the Hot Springs and Buffet Breakfast are Amazing Too!

And what makes Route-Inn Grand Asahikawa Ekimae truly recommendable are its natural hot spring and breakfast! The onsen is a Tenninkyo natural hot spring, perfect for soothing both body and soul after a long day of travel.

The breakfast buffet has so many options it's hard to choose. There are many Hokkaido-specific dishes, which is a delight for guests from outside the prefecture. COVID-19 prevention measures, such as providing plastic gloves and disinfectant, are thoroughly implemented, ensuring a safe and comfortable dining experience. Of course, high chairs for children are also available.

So, what did you think? To be honest, before our stay, I was a bit worried, thinking, 'Is it okay to bring a small child to a business hotel...?' But as soon as we arrived, from the staff in the parking lot to the front desk receptionists, everyone was so friendly and welcoming to my child.
