Asahiyama Zoo in Hokkaido is always number one on the list of popular zoos. Many of you may be considering staying in Asahikawa with your children when planning your excursions this summer, and we have good news for those mothers! We happen to meet a hotel that is full of services that welcome children! We happened to come across a hotel that is full of services that welcome children.

This time, I would like to share with you some of my experiences and recommendations for "moms with children.

Here is the hotel! Hotel Route Inn Grand Asahikawa Ekimae. It is only a 2-minute walk from the North Exit of Asahikawa Station, and only a 25-minute drive from Asahiyama Zoo!

The first point for mothers with children: "Amenities for children".

The rooms are equipped with children's hotel clothes, slippers with bears on them, and toothbrushes with "Musabi-kun" on them. So cute!

And if you make a reservation through the special plan, you even get a cute souvenir in a limited Asahiyama Zoo package! My child was jumping for joy at this hospitality.

Point #2: "Services for children that bring a smile to the faces of mothers with children!

There are picture books for children in the lobby, and these books can be taken back to your room to read. Children who usually read picture books before bedtime can fall asleep in peace.

Children can also watch their favorite cartoons on the TV in their rooms free of charge. It would be very helpful for mothers and fathers during their hectic getting ready time if they can watch a little while. (In fact, it helped me a lot when I was getting ready in the morning!)

Point No. 3 "Rental Service for Moms with Children!

We were able to rent a "diaper trash can," which is helpful even with a child wearing diapers, and a "bed guard" to prevent children from falling out when they sleep on the bed.

For children who need a crib, a crib is also available for rent. This allows both mom, dad, and child to sleep peacefully and soundly.

Of course, we also offer a full range of hot springs and buffet breakfasts!

The Route Inn Grand Asahikawa Ekimae's recommendation is, of course, the natural hot spring and breakfast! The hot spring is the Tenninkyo natural hot spring, which will heal your body and mind from the fatigue of traveling.

The breakfast buffet has so many items that you will be spoilt for choice. Many of the items on the menu are unique to Hokkaido, making even out-of-town guests happy. Corona countermeasures such as vinyl gloves and disinfection are thoroughly taken to ensure a safe and comfortable stay. Of course, chairs for children are also available.

How was your stay? Actually, before we stayed at the hotel, I was worried about whether it would be safe to bring a small child to a business hotel. But as soon as we arrived at the hotel, the man at the parking lot and the people at the front desk welcomed our child with open arms. I was so happy to see the hospitality of the hotel. In an instant, my fears were gone, and I felt lightened.
