Hokkaido's prime travel season is here! To make your trip even more enjoyable, various regional discount campaigns are being offered throughout the prefecture. You can get great deals on accommodation, dining, activities, and transportation.

But searching for them one by one can be a hassle...! To avoid missing out on these great deals, we've compiled a list of campaigns for each of Hokkaido's four main areas: Central (Do-o), Southern (Donan), Northern (Dohoku), and Eastern (Doto).

With Hokkaido's "Domin-wari" discount, you can get up to ¥5,000 off per person per night for accommodation, day trips, or outdoor activities within Hokkaido offered by participating businesses, provided the cost is ¥3,000 or more. In addition, you'll receive a ¥2,000 "Hokkaido Support Coupon" that can be used at souvenir shops, restaurants, and transportation services at your destination.

■Campaign Period: Until July 14, 2022 (Thu)
*For accommodation, valid for check-outs until July 15, 2022 (Fri)
■Eligibility: Residents of the following regions using eligible accommodation, day trips, or outdoor activities in Hokkaido.
・Hokkaido residents: Must be 14 days or more past their second vaccination dose.
・Residents of Aomori, Iwate, Miyagi, Akita, Yamagata, and Fukushima prefectures: Must have completed their third vaccination dose.
Alternatively, a negative PCR or quantitative antigen test result is required.
■Details
・Receive a discount of up to ¥5,000 per person per night or per day trip for services costing ¥3,000 or more.
*The discount amount varies depending on the price. Please check the official website for details.
・Receive a ¥2,000 "Hokkaido Support Coupon" (four ¥500 vouchers) per person per night or per day trip for services costing ¥3,000 or more.
*Coupons can be used at restaurants, souvenir shops, transportation providers, etc.
*For overnight trips: Valid from check-in on July 14 (Thu) to check-out on July 15 (Fri).
*For day trips: Valid only on July 14 (Thu).

Hokkaido "Gurutto Hokkaido - Public Transportation Promotion Campaign"

The "Gurutto Hokkaido - Public Transportation Promotion Campaign" offers up to a 50% discount on public transportation within Hokkaido, including trains, buses, taxis, ferries, and flights. You can purchase tickets and coupon books at a reduced price.

■Campaign Period
・Purchase Deadline: Until August 31, 2022 (Wed)
・Usage Deadline: Until September 30, 2022 (Fri)
■Eligibility: Varies by transportation provider. Please check the official website for details.
■Details: Get up to a 50% discount on public transportation in Hokkaido (train, bus, taxi, ferry, air). ・Up to 30% discount for using a single mode of public transport.
・Up to 50% discount for using multiple connecting modes of public transport (e.g., plane and bus, train and bus).

With Esashi Town's "Esashi-wari" discount, you can get up to ¥10,000 off your accommodation fee when staying at eligible facilities.

■Campaign Period: Until check-out on March 13, 2023 (Mon)
■Eligibility: Hokkaido residents staying at eligible accommodation facilities in Esashi Town.
■Details: Up to ¥10,000 discount per person per night on accommodation fees.

Shiriuchi Town "Shiriuchi-wari"

With Shiriuchi Town's "Shiriuchi-wari" discount, you can ride the Yagoshi Cruise for ¥3,500, a 30% discount from the regular price of ¥5,000.

■Campaign Period: Until August 31, 2022 (Wed)
■Eligibility: Residents of Hokkaido, Aomori, Iwate, Miyagi, Akita, Yamagata, and Fukushima prefectures who take the Yagoshi Cruise.
■Details: During the campaign period, the Yagoshi Cruise is available for ¥3,500, a 30% discount from the regular price of ¥5,000.

Okushiri Town "Welcome! to Okushiri Island"

With Okushiri Town's "Welcome! to Okushiri Island" campaign, visitors who travel to Okushiri Island by ferry, stay at an accommodation facility on the island, and participate in an activity program will receive a free return ferry ticket. Additionally, a "Play and Win! Present Project" is being held, where participants who stay on the island and join an activity program (regardless of ferry use) can enter a lottery to win local Okushiri products.

■Campaign Period: Until January 31, 2023 (Tue)
■Eligibility: Those who purchase a one-way ferry ticket to Okushiri Island and receive stamps from the following facilities as proof of use:
・Stay at least one night at an eligible accommodation facility on Okushiri Island.
・Sign up for and participate in at least one eligible activity program on Okushiri Island.
■Details
・Receive a free return ferry ticket.
・A "Play and Win! Present Project" is being held for activity program participants who stay on the island, with a chance to win local Okushiri products in a lottery.
*Separate application is required to participate in the "Play and Win! Present Project".
*You can participate in the "Play and Win! Present Project" even if you do not use the ferry.
