Enjoy Jozankei Onsen, Dining, and Horseback Riding with This Great Coupon Deal!
Did you know that the "Jozankei Machi-arukippu," a special coupon book for great deals in Jozankei, has been on sale since June 1st? You can buy a 2,000 yen coupon book and enjoy 3,000 yen worth of fun! Here's an example of a fulfilling Jozankei itinerary, featuring three spots where you can use these coupons!

First, head to the Jozankei Tourist Information Center to purchase your coupons. For 2,000 yen, you get a book of coupons worth 3,000 yen (six 500-yen tickets). The sale period is until Monday, October 31, 2022, but sales will end once the limited run of 18,000 books is sold out. No change is given, but you can use them in combination with cash.

After buying the tickets, our first stop was "Wild Mustangs," about a 15-minute drive from the tourist information center. Here, you can experience Western-style horseback riding at the foot of Mt. Hakkenzan.

We tried the "Led Horseback Ride: Up-Down Course," where a staff member leads the horse by the reins. It feels amazing to ride a cute horse through nature! The cost was 2,000 yen, which used up four of our tickets. You can also give a carrot treat to your hardworking horse (for an extra 100 yen).

Returning to the Jozankei Onsen town, we headed to the popular bakery, "Vergine Baccano." This super-popular shop often has a line before it even opens. They say that most of their bread sells out even in the morning!

We successfully bought a "Croissant" (260 yen, tax included). We enjoyed it at a table outside the shop. The rich buttery flavor fills your mouth, bringing a sense of happiness. Finding delicious bread truly warms the heart.

Along with the croissant, we also bought the "Whole Wheat Bread with Walnuts and Cheese" (280 yen, tax included). This hearty bread, packed with walnuts and cheese, left us completely satisfied. Here, we paid with one ticket and cash.

We were full, but there's always room for dessert! So, we walked to "Locale Jozankei," a soft-serve ice cream shop less than a 10-minute walk from Vergine Baccano.

This shop is famous for its soft-serve ice cream, which combines unique ingredients like blue cheese and pistachio. Everything looked delicious, but this time we chose...

The "Yoichi Whisky & Espresso" (630 yen, tax included)! One bite and the elegant aroma of Yoichi whisky fills your senses. This is a soft-serve for adults, a treat that only adults can truly appreciate. We paid with one ticket and 130 yen in cash, using up all our tickets.

Even though we paid a little extra, we were incredibly satisfied with how much we could enjoy with just a 2,000 yen ticket book! Whether you're staying at Jozankei Onsen or live nearby, why not get a "Jozankei Machi-arukippu"? With so many charming new shops popping up in Jozankei, you might use it up in no time.
