Did you know that the "Jozankei Machiaru Ticket", a coupon ticket that can be used at a discount price in Jozankei, has been on sale since June 1? With the purchase of a 2,000 yen coupon ticket, you can enjoy 3,000 yen worth of fun! We have selected three of the available facilities and will introduce an example of a course to fully enjoy Jozankei!

First, go to the Jozankei Tourist Information Center to purchase a coupon for 3,000 yen (6 x 500 yen tickets) for 2,000 yen. The coupons will be on sale until Monday, October 31, 2022, but the sale will end when the limited number of 18,000 coupons are sold out. No change will be given, but the coupons can be used in combination with cash.

After purchasing tickets, the first stop was Wild Mustangs, a 15-minute drive from the tourist information center. Here, visitors can experience western horseback riding at the foot of Hakkenzan Mountain.

Experience the "Pulling Horse Up and Down Course" with the staff pulling the reins. It feels great to take a stroll in nature on a cute horse! The fee was 2,000 yen, which was for four tickets. You can also give carrots as a reward to the horse that did a great job. (extra charge: 100 yen).

Returning to Jozankei's hot spring resort area, we will head to the popular bakery Vergine Baccano. It is a very popular store where you must wait in line even before the store opens. Even in the morning, most of the bread in the store is sold out!

I was able to safely purchase a croissant (260 yen including tax). We enjoyed it at a table outside the store. The buttery flavor filled my mouth and made me happy. When you encounter delicious bread, it makes your heart warm and fuzzy.

Along with the croissant, I also bought a loaf of "Walnut and Cheese Whole Grain Bread" (280 yen including tax). This satisfying bread, filled with walnuts and cheese, filled my stomach to the brim. Here, we paid with one ticket and cash.

We were satisfied, but dessert was something else! So we came to Locale Jozankei, a soft-serve ice cream shop less than a 10-minute walk from Vergine Baccano.

This store is famous for its soft-serve ice cream, which is combined with blue cheese, pistachios, and other slightly unexpected ingredients. They all look delicious, but we chose .......

Yoichi Whisky & Espresso (630 yen including tax)! A bite of this soft-serve ice cream is a treat for adults, with the elegant aroma of Yoichi whisky escaping from your nose. I paid 130 yen for one ticket and 130 yen in cash, and this was all I had to use up.

Although I paid a little extra, I was very satisfied because I was able to enjoy so much with a 2,000 yen ticket! Not only guests of Jozankei Onsen, but also those who live in the suburbs should purchase the "Jozankei Machiaruki Ticket". Jozankei is becoming increasingly full of attractive stores, so you may run out of tickets in no time.
