美深ふるさと秋まつり

くらし楽しくフェスティバル

The "Life Fun Festival" is held twice a year, in spring and fall. In addition to food and drink stalls, freshly picked vegetables and flower seedlings from Higashikawa Town are sold. The annual flea market and handmade craft market for small goods are also popular. On Saturday, September 2, a fireworks display will be held from 6:30 p.m.

EVNET 4 The 27th Honbetsu Kirameki Town Festival 2023 (Honbetsu Town)

The special venue on the riverbed is a large place with lawn all over, very open. EVNET 6 Hokuhoku Festival in Makkari 2023 (Makkari Village)

The biggest highlight of the festival is the potato digging (Otoshaku and Kitaakari) and all-you-can-stuff vegetables, in which participants buy a bag and participate. This is Hokkaido's representative gourmet event, held every year since 2011 for three days in September, including Respect-for-Senior-Citizens Day. EVNET 9 Iwamizawa Hyakumochi Festival (Iwamizawa City )

いわみざわ百餅祭り

This is the largest festival in Iwamizawa City, and the main attraction is the "Omusu Mochi Pounding," in which specialty rice (glutinous rice) is pounded into rice cakes using one of the world's largest rice mortars. The mortar is 2.2 meters in diameter and weighs 5.5 tons. The streets where the festival takes place are filled with excitement as little children pound rice cakes and enjoy eating, drinking, and shopping at the "Hyakumochi Market.

EVNET 11 The 38th Hamamasu Furusato Festival (Ishikari City )

浜益ふるさと祭り

The festival is one of the three major autumn festivals in Ishikari City, where Hamamasu's famous agricultural, marine, and livestock products, including Ishikari-caught salmon and Japanese black beef, are all gathered for sale. In addition to the "Okiage Ondo," a traditional herring fishing performance by elementary school students, and "Horoho Toyo Daiko," local entertainment, there will also be a bingo tournament and a "mochimaki" (rice cake wrapped in a sticky rice cake with a gift) event. Another attraction is the BBQ corner where visitors can eat their purchases on the spot.

EVNET 12 The 39th Nakagawa Autumn Taste Festival / The 32nd Hokkaido Log Pushing Sumo Tournament (Nakagawa Town)

北海道丸太押し相撲大会

The highlight of the two major autumn events in Nakagawa Town is the "Hokkaido Log Pushing Sumo Tournament," a dynamic competition in which five strong men push a 100kg log against each other. The competition is so heated that even those who are watching can't help but get involved. At the site of the Autumn Festival, visitors can enjoy catching salmon and all-you-can-stuff vegetables, as well as an exhibition of Self-Defense Forces vehicles and a raffle for a chance to ride in one of the vehicles.

EVNET 13 The 47th Kashiwabayashi Park Festival (Taiki Town)

柏林公園まつり

This is an industrial festival where visitors can fully enjoy the autumn flavors unique to Taiki Town, which is surrounded by mountains and the sea. Starting with an onsite sale of Taiki-produced wagyu beef, visitors can enjoy a lineup of one-tsubo stores filled with handmade products of the town's residents, as well as restaurant booths, and even catch a horse mackerel. On the event stage, there will be a singing show, a fun raffle, and a mochi-maki (rice cake pounding) event.

EVNET 14 The 48th Atsuta Furusato Akiaji Festival (Ishikari City)

厚田ふるさとあきあじ祭り

In addition to sales of specialty products, there is also a sale of Ishikari morning-caught salmon. This festival offers a taste of Atsuta's hometown with delicacies from the sea and mountains. Charcoal-grilled live scallops and rare Mochorai-don (rice bowl), which is inevitably sold out, are popular. Participatory events such as "akiaji weight-guessing quiz" and "rice cake throwing with a lottery" are also held. 石狩さけまつり

This is a major event in Ishikari, the "Home of Salmon" that started in 1956 and is one of the three major autumn festivals in Ishikari City. It is a popular festival for salmon lovers, with fresh and inexpensive fresh salmon for sale, "Ishikari nabe" made in a large 1,000-person pot, and salmon roe bowls made by local restaurants being very popular. One of the four major events in Tsurui Village, this is the village's largest festival held every September. There are many games related to dairy farming, such as the "Milk Drinking Contest" and the "Moo Moo Contest" in which participants compete to imitate the cows' cries. Many food and beverage booths are set up to celebrate the tastes of the season, and there is also a tasting corner using the village's famous milk and a market selling vegetables produced in Tsurui.

The naming of the festival using Hokkaido dialect will warm your heart. This autumn harvest festival features a wide variety of agricultural and livestock products from the town, including Shikaoi beef. しんとく新そば祭り

Held every year on the last Sunday in September, this is the largest festival in Shintoku Town and attracts up to 25,000 visitors in search of freshly harvested soba noodles. Not only can visitors compare and contrast the four freshly harvested, freshly ground, freshly beaten, and freshly boiled soba noodles, but they can also enjoy a variety of autumnal delicacies at the many stalls selling local products and other delicacies.
