This unusual "Tyrannosaurus Race" was held on September 24, 2022 in the town of Naie. The Tyrannosaurus Race itself has been popular overseas for several years, and this is the first time it has been held in Hokkaido.

The idea was conceived by the Naegae Town Community Development Cooperation Volunteers as an event that would "energize everyone," and about 100 "dinosaurs" gathered for the event. What was the actual event like?

First of all, the pre-race preparation exercise is essential. The assembled tyrannosaurs did radio calisthenics. They jumped, stretched, and did short handstands. The seriousness with which they tackle the exercises is quite surreal. Waves of laughter gradually hit the audience.

The divisions are divided into "adult (adult)" and "juvenile (juvenile)", and the adult animals are divided into "male and female (male and female)"... The setting is also very thorough...

And then, the real show! Tyrannosaurs run as fast as they can over a distance of 50 meters! The running was very serious, with some dinosaurs falling over due to the wind. But the movements of the dinosaurs were so comical that it naturally brought a smile to the faces of those who watched.
