1 The 61st Susukino Festival: Featuring a Gorgeous Oiran Procession and Powerful Mikoshi Parade

The Susukino Festival, held for three days from Thursday, August 7th to Saturday, August 9th, will fill the entire Susukino area with excitement. It features a gorgeous Oiran courtesan procession, a dynamic mikoshi (portable shrine) parade, about 100 food stalls, stage events, and even a nostalgic disco night. On the final day, Saturday the 9th, you can enjoy the food stalls, the mikoshi parade, a YOSAKOI Soran performance, and the "Susukino Night Fever" with nostalgic disco sounds.

The festival's famous "Oiran Dochu" (courtesan procession) will be held on Thursday, August 7th, from 8:00 PM. The magnificently dressed Oiran will slowly parade down the street from South 5 to South 7. Their elegant and glamorous appearance is a must-see.

2 A Collaboration Between Sapporo Racecourse and the Fighters! "F Village Collab Event in Sapporo Racecourse"

The Sapporo horse racing season is running from Saturday, July 26th to Sunday, August 17th. To commemorate the "F Village Special" race on Sunday, August 10th, JRA and the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters are holding a special collaboration event. There will be a dance show featuring Polly and the Fighters Girl, photo sessions with the mascots and Fighters Girl, a pop-up store, and exclusive drinks for sale.

From Saturday, August 2nd to Sunday, August 17th, limited-edition drinks will be available: "Go Matsumoto's Go-Go! Refreshing Ramune Lemon Sour" (750 yen, alcoholic) and "Chusei Manami's Manly Man-Chu Ginger Highball" (750 yen, alcoholic). This is an unmissable event for both horse racing fans and Fighters fans.

3 4PLA Grand Opening (2F & 3F): Featuring a New Starbucks Specializing in Tea Beverages

"4-chome Plaza," which once led Sapporo's culture, is back this year as "4PLA"! In addition to the 1st floor, which is already open, the 2nd and 3rd floors will have their grand opening this week on Thursday, August 7th. It's expected to be bustling with people over the weekend. Notable new stores include a Starbucks specializing in tea beverages, and a collaboration store between the Tanita-operated "TANITA CAFE" and Sapporo's own "oj coffee."

Furthermore, the "Jiyuichi Bar," where you can enjoy retro snacks, craft beer, and standing drinks, will open on the 3rd floor. Starting from Thursday the 7th, you can enjoy craft beers born from a collaboration between Sapporo's urban festival "NoMaps" and two of Hokkaido's leading breweries, "Streetlight Brewing" and "Brasserie Knot."
