The "Hokkaido Heritage" designation, which began in 2001 for "treasures unique to Hokkaido," is back. Why not explore the numerous Hokkaido Heritage sites, born from its rich nature, history, and culture, this year? Following its popular run in 2024, the "Hokkaido Heritage Digital Stamp Rally" returns for 2025, starting from August 1st. The rally features 88 spots associated with the Hokkaido Heritage sites.

"Hokkaido Heritage" sites are selected with the participation of Hokkaido residents from among the tangible and intangible assets—including its rich nature, as well as the history, culture, life, and industries of the people who have lived in Hokkaido—that should be carefully passed on to the next generation. The first selection took place in October 2001, and a total of four selections have been made to date. A total of 74 Hokkaido Heritage sites have been designated so far.

The "Hokkaido Heritage Digital Stamp Rally 2025-2026" kicks off on Friday, August 1, 2025! Visit all 88 designated locations throughout Hokkaido, collect stamps on your smartphone, and enter to win fabulous prizes.

You can apply for one of the prizes, from Prize A to Prize C, depending on the number of stamps you collect.
