Rabbit Yukine Appointed PR Ambassador for Rishiri and Rebun Islands!
Rabbit Yukine, the pet of Hokkaido's cheerful mascot "Snow Miku" and the active Director of the Domingo Planning Department, has been appointed as the PR Ambassador for Rishiri and Rebun Islands!
Rabbit Yukine
Rabbit Yukine is the pet character of "Snow Miku," a mascot who supports Hokkaido. This character, based on the Ezo snow rabbit, was born in 2014 after being selected in a public competition for a "pet character for Snow Miku, based on an animal motif of Hokkaido's winter."
Yukine will be working hard to convey the charms of Japan's northernmost remote islands, Rishiri and Rebun! To celebrate, an "Inauguration Ceremony for Rabbit Yukine as PR Ambassador" will be held at Sapporo Okadama Airport on Thursday, November 24th at 13:00.
