Here are three of the best photos of Hokkaido's beautiful scenery taken and submitted by our readers!
Heart Island (Shakotan Town)
Treasure Island is the symbol of Bikuni, located at the end of Cape Gold. It is said to have received its name from the large shoals of herring that once brought great wealth.
This photo was taken by a drone from 500m above.

Treasure Island, an island in the shape of a heart, can be seen from Cape Kogane Cape in Shakotan Town.
Treasure Island has an old tragic love story called "The Legend of Chashina", which you may enjoy more if you look it up before you go there 💡.
However, it is also said to be an island of good luck, so please visit the beautiful Shakotan blue sea, Cape Koganejima & Treasure Island!
Swan Bridge flapping its wings in a cove at dusk (Muroran City)
Composition of Muroran Shiratori Bridge and sunset. This is my favorite spot because the sunset is always beautiful no matter when I take it. When the sea wind is weak, the sunset connects in a straight line to the sea surface.
Please visit with your camera at sunset.
Although it is surrounded by only fishermen....

Muroran's symbol, the largest suspension bridge in East Japan🌉!
It is also depicted on the renewed country sign of Muroran City.
The Shiratori Bridge can be seen from most places in Muroran City, so try to find your favorite position to see it from different places 👀.
Air storms and swans (Tomakomai City)
I was very impressed with this photo of a beautiful air storm and beautiful swans together on a cool morning at Lake Utonai, where I always go to take photos.

Lake Utonai is said to be a treasure trove of flora and fauna and a paradise for wild birds, with a rich natural environment of fields and wetlands and more than 270 species of wild birds 🔭.
It is an important stopover point for migratory birds! During the current winter season, swans, ducks, white-tailed eagles, and other birds are likely to be seen through spring🦢.
Please enjoy the nature and birds of the four seasons!
