In spring 2023, on the grounds of Teshikaga HOSTEL MISATO, a guesthouse in Teshikaga, Mashu Bus Sauna, a bath sauna that looks like a bus but is actually a full-fledged sauna, will open on April 9, 2023! This will be the first time in Hokkaido that a bus that was used to transport people will be converted into a sauna.

A new attraction in Teshikaga

The bath sauna was created with the desire to "create a new attraction for the people of Teshikaga Town." Its exterior is painted the same "Mashu Blue" as Lake Mashu. The moment you open the door, you are enveloped in the scent of cypress and herbs, and begin your authentic sauna experience.

The inside of the bus is a real sauna

It features a bench with gentle curves, and behind it is a wood stove and stones. You can experience temperatures of over 100°C, and you can adjust the temperature depending on where you sit.

What's more, the water sprinkled on the stones is herbal water from Teshikaga's herb farm "Fattoriaco," so you can enjoy the scent of organic herbs.

Can be used in the morning and evening and refreshes with sound

Morning and evening saunas are also available. The saunas and shower rooms are equipped with high quality speakers, and healing music will help you feel refreshed.

An extraordinary experience of outdoor bathing and cold bathing in the great outdoors

There are also other facilities, such as a cold bath made from a dairy milk tank, where you can experience something out of the ordinary by bathing in the open air and cold baths in the great outdoors of Teshikaga.
