Date City

"CHILDHOOD", Hokkaido's first next-generation complex attraction park consisting of four different attractions, a trampoline park, laser tag, VR, and outdoor buggy, will grand open on May 13, 2023 in Otaki, Date City, Hokkaido, by reusing the old school building and its surrounding area that closed in 2019.

Former Otaki Junior High School to be reborn as an amusement park

In the spacious 20 square meter space of the old gymnasium, a lineup of attractions that are making their debut in Hokkaido is lined up. Various attractions are set up, centered around five types of trampolines, and a huge field athletics area has been developed where you can clear various obstacles like in an action game. There are plenty of contents that will make you scream non-stop, such as a thrilling scream-inducing slider that makes use of the difference in elevation of the old gymnasium, and the wobbly bridge that is familiar from the movie "Takeshi's Castle."

CHILDHOOD

On the second floor of the school building, you can experience futuristic games such as laser tag and VR in a space that still retains the atmosphere of a school. Laser tag is a "painless survival game" that means "Laser (laser beam) Tag (tag)". Since there are no bullets, there is no need for protective gear, so it can be enjoyed safely by children and adults alike.

In addition, in the spacious garden behind the school, you can experience dynamic outdoor buggy driving in the open nature surrounded by forest. There are two courses: a beginner's course that you can enjoy safely even if it's your first buggy experience, and an advanced course that allows you to fully enjoy nature.
