A Closed School Reborn! Inside CHILDHOOD, Hokkaido's First Next-Gen Multi-Attraction Park
The Former Otaki Junior High School is Reborn as an Attraction Park
The spacious 20-square-meter area of the former gymnasium is packed with attractions making their Hokkaido debut. A massive field athletic course is set up with various attractions centered around five types of trampolines, where you clear obstacles like in an action game. The space is filled with scream-worthy content, including a thrilling slide that utilizes the height difference of the old gym and a wobbly bridge, famously seen on the TV show "Takeshi's Castle."
On the second floor of the school building, you can experience futuristic games like laser tag and VR in a space that retains the atmosphere of a school. Laser tag, meaning "Laser Tag (a game of tag)," is a "pain-free survival game." Since there are no projectiles, no protective gear is needed, allowing everyone from children to adults to enjoy it safely.
Furthermore, in the spacious yard behind the school building, you can experience dynamic outdoor buggy driving in an open, natural setting surrounded by forest. There are two courses: a beginner course for those new to buggies to enjoy with peace of mind, and an advanced course where you can fully immerse yourself in nature.
Access, Business Days, and Fees
Access by car is approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes from New Chitose Airport and about 2 hours from central Sapporo. The park is open on Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, and during the spring, summer, and winter school breaks. Business hours are from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM from April to October, and from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM from November to March. The fee for junior high school students and older (130cm or taller) is 4,400 yen, for elementary school students (130cm or shorter) is 3,850 yen, and for spectators is 1,100 yen. (All prices include tax).
Come and enjoy "CHILDHOOD," Hokkaido's first next-generation multi-attraction park that everyone from kids to adults can enjoy! Create wonderful memories with your family and friends at this brand-new attraction.
