Where Did Sapporo ESTA's Stores Go? Tracking the New Locations Amid Station-Front Redevelopment—Some Are Already Open!
This summer, ESTA, a shopping complex directly connected to Sapporo Station, closed its doors, much to the dismay of many Hokkaido residents. This leaves us wondering: what will happen to the more than 100 shops that were inside? Where did my favorite clothing store go? Is that restaurant gone for good? We've compiled a list of the key relocations for you!
1. Bic Camera, UNIQLO, namco, and more have moved to the Tokyu Department Store across the street
2. Nitori has relocated to the Marui Imai Main Store in Odori
3. LOFT is set to open in the new hot spot, moyuk SAPPORO!
4. Many more are opening in easily accessible shopping centers like APIA, Tanukikoji, and Sunpiazza!

Nitori has relocated to the Marui Imai Main Store in Odori
"Nitori EXPRESS" relocated and opened on Friday, September 8th, on the 8th floor of the Odori-kan building at the Marui Imai Sapporo Main Store. This store focuses mainly on home fashion products, with no furniture on display, allowing for a quick and convenient shopping experience.
The original steak bento shop, "Steak Four Season," has also moved to the B1 floor of the Marui Imai Sapporo Main Store.
LOFT is set to open in the new hot spot, moyuk SAPPORO!
The new home for the lifestyle goods store LOFT is "moyuk SAPPORO," a new landmark famous for attractions like the urban aquarium "AOAO SAPPORO." LOFT will open in this brand-new, must-visit spot on Friday, September 29th.

"Hakodate Menchubo Ajisai," which was popular in ESTA's Sapporo Ramen Republic, has also opened a branch in moyuk SAPPORO.

■ Kita no Omiyage-kan (Northern Souvenir Hall): Tanukikoji 1-chome (Scheduled to open late October)
