Nitori's "Half Tree" has become a hot topic on social media. It's a cleverly designed Christmas item—a vertically halved Christmas tree that can be placed flush against a wall. You're probably curious about how to assemble it and what the final result looks like, right? This time, we bought the trending "Half Tree" and put it together ourselves!

As Popular as Expected When We Went to Buy It

Nitori's "Half Tree" comes in two varieties: "Green" and "Snow." The Green is a standard green tree, while the Snow version looks like it's covered in snow. It's available in three heights: 120 cm, 150 cm, and 180 cm.

We went to buy one right away, and even though it was only early November, the 120cm Half Tree we wanted was the last one in stock. We made it just in time...

We purchased the 120cm Snow version. The price was 3,990 yen (tax included).

For reference, the packaging is also a bit more compact compared to Nitori's regular tree of the same size.

Time to open the box!

Inside, the tree was split into two parts, along with one cylindrical base and three leg pieces. There was also an assembly instruction manual.

Assembly is Super Easy!

First, insert the three leg pieces into the base.

Then, insert the bottom part of the tree into the base.

Next, insert the top part of the tree into the bottom half. Note that the 150cm and 180cm versions are divided into three parts. Then, spread out the folded branches and...

It's complete!

From the side, you can see it's really half a tree, vertically.

It fits perfectly against the wall! What a brilliant product.

We Decorated It, of Course♪

It looked a bit plain as is, so we decorated it!

We used a total of 31 ornaments: 30 regular ones plus a star. Since there's no back side, you need fewer ornaments than a regular tree.

Just as the social media buzz suggests, the "Half Tree" is a Christmas item that's easy to assemble and perfect for apartments or rooms with limited space. It's extremely popular, so if you're interested, be sure to buy one soon!
