Golden Kamuy and Shiroi Koibito Team Up Again! Limited Edition Tanigaki Genjiro Tin with Snow and Flying Buttons Launches for White Day
The 4th Collaboration Between Shiroi Koibito and Golden Kamuy
Shiroi Koibito and Golden Kamuy have collaborated several times before. In December 2020, the collaboration featured "Asirpa" and "Retar," followed by "Lieutenant Tsurumi" in 2022. This time, the spotlight is on "Tanigaki Genjiro." The tin features an original illustration specially drawn for this collaboration.
This collaboration's star is Tanigaki Genjiro
Affectionately known by nicknames like "Tanigaki Nispa" and "Genjiro-chan," he is one of the most muscular characters in the series. True to his character, the collaboration tin depicts him with his buttons bursting off his uniform.
It's also a well-known fact among fans that Tanigaki Nispa is the favorite character of the original author, Satoru Noda. When Mr. Noda posted that he had received the collaboration tin, fans responded with warm comments like, "An original tin made just for Mr. Noda" and "The author seems to be the happiest one of all."
